Website Under Development

Our website is currently under redevelopment as we build a new online home for the Regional Cancer Research Network NSW.

While our full website is under construction, the Network continues to support cancer researchers, clinicians, and consumers across regional New South Wales. We look forward to sharing new resources, funding opportunities, research projects, and capacity-building initiatives with you soon.

Our new website is expected to launch in September 2026. In the meantime, information about the Network can be found below.

Building Cancer Research Capacity in Regional NSW

The Regional Cancer Research Network NSW (the Network) exists to build cancer research capacity within regional New South Wales.

People affected by cancer in regional NSW often face greater barriers to care, fewer opportunities to participate in research, and poorer health outcomes than those living in major cities. Addressing this inequity requires strong, locally driven cancer research led by the clinicians and researchers who know their communities best.

Our primary focus is supporting and developing regional researchers and clinicians to design, lead and deliver high-quality cancer research that directly improves care for people living with cancer in regional areas.

Funded to Build Stronger Regional Cancer Research

The Regional Cancer Research Network NSW is funded by the Cancer Institute NSW through a Translational Cancer Research Capacity Building Grant.

This funding supports the development of regional cancer research and the translation of research findings into improved care for people affected by cancer.
